Trattoria Pizzeria La Fenice in Free municipal consortium of Trapani

"Really new pizzeria a short walk from the cruise pier, which is open for lunch. Very friendly owner helped us out, and the menus were in both Italian and English. We shared a potato appetizer with a subtle mix of cheese and fresh peppers and then each had our own pizzas. The Buffalo mozzarella had very fresh basil infused and was lighter, but my favorite was the (obviously) specialty "La Fenice", a hearty blend of cheese, salami, sausage, onion, and mushroom. Definitely recommend that one if you have an appetite. Prices were great, and I was amazed the pizzas were so substantial at such a bargain."

"Lovely small place close to the sea in Trapani. Very tasty food for a reasonable price. And the size of the portion is just massive! Recommended for both pasta and seafood."

"This great little restaurant was only round the corner from out hotel and we stumbled across it but glad we did as we found it to have the best pizzas in the area and we tried a few. We returned a few times during the day and evening during our trip and would recommend it to anyone visiting Tripani...a must! Was a lot of noise from passing traffic but think that was just due to an event nearby but don't let it out your off...food is the best"

"From the outside, it looks pretty unassuming — but don’t be fooled! The food is absolutely delicious, with plenty to choose from and super friendly service. They’re open from 12:30 to 2:30 (perfect for an early lunch — a rare thing in this part of the world!) and then reopen at 7 for dinner. Definitely worth a visit!"

"If you're in Trapani or passing by, be sure to stop by! Delicious bruschetta with tomatoes and amazing pizza! The dough is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! The service is amazing, and the kitchen works quickly! I recommend it!"

"We’ve been here twice already and it’s quickly become one of our favorites! The mussel soup in red wine, lobster linguine, pizzas, and the caponata were all absolutely delicious — and at a very reasonable price. Service was friendly and quick, which is always a plus. If you don’t want to wait for a table, I’d recommend arriving around 7:30. Give it a try!"

"Decent pizzas but wouldn’t get it again. Delicious crust and sauce but there was too much cheese and it was too salty. However, the restaurant is lovely and such nice outdoor seating. The service was also perfect."
